Dianne's love for the romance genre began ten years ago when desperate for something good to read her daughter tossed her a well-read, dog-eared, clinch-cover Harlequin. Her daughter said it was "great," then confessed it had been passed around the eighth grade class of St. Andrew's School as a "supplement" to their sex ed class. Some supplement! Dianne was instantly hooked on Harlequins, and it wasn't long before she was writing stories of her own. She finaled in several national contests, including RWA's Golden Heart. Her first Harlequin American, A Court-Appointed Marriage, will be released in August, 2001 as part of The Way We Met...And Married series.
Dianne lives with her husband and four kids in Ohio. She writes humorous, fast pace, sexy stories set in small-town USA. Her stories focus on the zany things people do when falling madly in love because love makes all of us braver, more adventurous, incredibly reckless and increasingly vulnerable. She's written articles and given workshops on writing and hopes someday her books will be the ones passed around St.Andrew's.
