Erica Orloff is the author of Spanish Disco, which Cosmopolitan magazine declared "hilarious." She is a native New Yorker who now calls South Florida home after deciding she would never again dig her car out of the snow. She likes blues music and jazz, but bears no resemblance to the heroine of Diary of a Blues Goddess, as she has been assured by anyone who has ever heard her sing that she is, indeed, tone deaf.
As an editor, Erica has worked on hundreds of books, several of which have gone on to be bestsellers. As a ghostwriter, she has also been in demand and has been behind the scenes on many successful books. A veteran radio talk show guest, Erica has appeared on over a hundred radio talk shows, including many in national syndication. She has done many book signings and speaks regularly to young people about writing and publishing.
In her personal life she hates to fly, refuses to cook and is hard-pressed to get out of her pajamas each day, as she works poolside in her home. She has a tight-knit circle of friends and family, loves to play poker and entertain, and has a house full of unruly pets.
