Nicole Camden has a bachelor’s degree in English, a passion for chocolate, men in uniform, men in general, and many other things as well.
She has been writing since she was little, but romance, sex, passion, and true love have always captured her attention. An avid reader (when she has time, but who has time), she tries to keep her interests varied, reading Beowulf one minute and a book on the history of diving the next.
Some of the romance authors that got her hooked on the genre include Julie Garwood, Jude Deveraux, Linda Lael Miller, Linda Howard (She owns the original MacKenzie’s Mountain), and Judith McNaught. Which is not to say that the torrid Zebra covers and steamy Silhouette’s didn’t do their part as well.
She’s lived in many places, including Texas, New York City, Ireland, Georgia, and California. She adores travel and hopes that her writing will someday support her in the style to which she’d like to become accustomed.
She currently lives in San Diego, where she is rather unsuccessfully learning how to surf, and is more successfully working on finishing a new erotic short story set in the Gulf of Mexico. Seeing Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom in Pirates of the Caribbean put her rather in the mood for a raucous adventure. She is also working on a full-length novel set in the South that is part country music video, part romantic suspense, and part epic novel.
She is not married, but has tentatively negotiated a living arrangement with her cat. He can sleep on her bed, but he can't sharpen his claws on her chaise lounge or jump on her kitchen counters.
There's is nothing she enjoys more than crafting a story and hopes to get her Masters Degree in Creative Writing in the near future.
Nothing but good times ahead.
