In the summer of 2003, Kathleen Baldwin sold her first Regency Romantic Comedy to Zebra Books, an imprint of Kensington Books.
Lest you think her writing career was all roses and cake, it is important to note Kathleen garnered her share of rejection notices, sixty-three at last count. Although multi-published in nonfiction, it took a sledge hammer, persistence, and a bucket of good luck to break into the fiction market.
A devoted student of the works of O’Henry, Wilde, Wodehouse, and Twain, she delights in creating stories that will make readers smile and find the humor in their own lives.
Kathleen lives in Texas with her heroic husband of twenty-three years, their four untamed children and a neurotic poodle. She is a member of Frisco Professional Writer’s Association, RWA, DARA, and Midwest Fiction Writers.
