A Captivating Lady
Francesca Verdant didn't mind chaperoning her niece during her first London season, but this prolonged stay in the city was proving to be rather tiresome. Frankie was not at all impressed with the so-called gentlemen she met, particularly the one they called "My Lord Perfection." After he so rudely bumped into her at the Chatterington Ball and landed her in the midst of a punch bowl, she had little interest in cultivating a friendship with the man. However, she couldn't deny that he WAS rather attractive. Perhaps it was time she put aside her penchant for horses and cultivated more romantic pursuits instead!
A Captivated Lord
Confound it! How could he have been involved in such an embarrassing predicament? Andrew Tolland Hansohm was known throughout society as the perfect viscount, a paragon amongst his peers. Thus a dip in the punch bowl with a bespectacled young lady was not at all up to crack . . . although he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to the chit than met the eye. Tolland had never allowed himself to be captivated by a woman, and his beguiling nemesis from the ball was no exception. However, denying his irresistible attraction for this delectable female was proving to be a most difficult task indeed!
