Love Bade Me Welcome
by : Joan Smith

Davinia was too young to be a widow. She was also very beautiful, and she had come seeking sanctuary with her husband's people at the ancestral home of Wyngate. She hoped to find comfort and a family. She was surprised at the grandeur of Wyngate, for her husband had told her nothing about it or that he had inherited the estate. In fact, he had scarcely spoken of his family. Now Wyngate would go to the second son, Homer, unless there was another claim. Such as Davinia's unexpected pregnancy. If she had a son, he would inherit. At first, though the family accepted her, Davinia felt Homer regarded her with enmity. And when someone deliberately pushed her down the stairs, she was certain it was Homer. Yet she had found his kisses thrilling. Could she be falling in love with a murderer?
