Ms. Andersen's latest effort was a good read and John "Rocket" Miglionni finally gets his story. This read had some great characters and the storyline was interesting but lacked something. Perhaps it was the suspense that I found missing. In any event I still think that this was a good read that you won't want to miss.
The mystery surrounding Victoria Hamilton's fathers murder was good but in the end I was able to guess who the killer was long before it was revealed. In any event Rocket's investigation was a perfect instrument in order to get him together with Victoria. The chemistry between these two characters was great, and I loved the interaction between the two. Add the fact that John finds out he's a daddy to a sweet young girl and you have the makings for a mighty hard fall, for a mighty hard man!
Of course it goes without say that a few old friends return for this story, and this is always fun. Ms. Andersen is a very talented author and she manages to create great characters that the reader truly ends up caring about. I recommend Ms. Andersen to any reader that likes her stories a little spicy, and a lot of fun!
