Paula Tanner Girard's first book was written en route from New York to Florida in the back seat of a station wagon surrounded by three children, one dog, and assorted baggage. "What could be more challenging?" she says. "I wanted to see if I could do it." She did. While hubby drove, she wrote. That children's book was published in both paper and audio editions and sold worldwide.
Years later, her children grown, Paula turned her creative hand to romance.
Her first novel, set in London during the English Regency, was published in 1995. Like the stories that followed it, Lord Wakeford's Gold Watch was endowed with the clever wit and sparkling humor that readers have come to expect from a Paula Tanner Girard novel.
