Shirley Tallman was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In her teens she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where she obtained her BA degree in Radio and Television while working as Traffic Manager, script writer and director for KNTV in San Jose, California. Shirley and her husband currently divide their time between Eugene, Oregon, and Incline Village, Nevada, where she continues to work as a novelist and screenwriter.
