The writer and journalist Liane Jones was born in Caerffili, South Wales in 1958. She is the author of two non-fiction books and three novels: Truth, Dare, Kiss or Promise, Painting the Dark and The Dreamstone, which won the Betty Trask award in 1992. She lives in London.
