Mother of 4 humans (2 girls, 2 boys), 2 shih-tzus (aka the girls), one feline (male and of course the major shit disturber in the house), one African Gray and several koi, oh and a beta with an attitude, so of course his name is Simon.

Favorite things to do: watch my boys kick butt on the football field, watch hubby coach as I bang away on my Alphie (actually I have the Dana who is named Vinny), enjoying the beautiful back yard my husband designed while drinking a nice cab and visiting with good friends. I like smooth jazz, the throbbing beat of U2 and country. Reading a good book or writing one is up there in favs as well.

I love romance. All of the textures, tastes and smells of it. I started writing in high school, mostly teenage girl crush stories, and then later after my youngest son was born I wrote a 700-page epic--in cursive! I set that aside and took on the bigger chore of caring for my family and my growing business.

Several years ago as things settled a bit, I made the decision I wanted publication. So I wrote another RS, and then another. I dabbled with a western set historical and then wrote a contemporary piece. I noticed all of my stories had one common thread...they were deeply sensual. It wasn't about the sex for me, but the chase leading up to it, the excitement of my characters getting to know each other, the way they teased, the way they danced, the way they made love with a full heart. I try to capture the essence of love, lust and passion in my characters and bring it home. I find that in my own life, passion is a driving force. Whether cheering my sons on in football, shopping for the perfect pair of shoes, preparing a scrumptious dinner, or choosing the perfect cab, I like the chase, the anticipation, the excitement of the moment when it all comes to a most satisfying end. To the victor go the spoils.
