Monica Fairview was born in London, but has lived in many places including the USA. She worked as a university professor, and an acupuncturist. She has written academic reviews and articles for years but her secret desire all along was to write Regency-style romances. She now lives in Cheam, Surrey and loves visiting National Trust properties in the area. When she is not writing, she is busy raising her very energetic six-year-old daughter.
