I started writing in 1990, though I didn't get really serious about it until two years later. In 1991 I joined the Dallas Area Romance Authors, which was very important in giving me direction and building new friendships among fellow authors--people obsessed with telling stories, just like me. I studied good books, corrected my problems, played up my strengths, wrote and rewrote. What a learning curve! Getting an MBA from Texas A&M University was easier. Learning computer programming was a breeze in comparison.
I have worked in data processing for 17 years. I share my home in a suburb of Dallas, Texas with my two sons, both to-die-for heroes in the making, and two goofy dogs (named Rogue and Storm by the boys after X-Men characters).
